The Stench of Utah’s Political Spectrum is awful

John Swallow Clearly, lied to the people of Utah. John Swallow among others lied to the people of Utah: Campaign employees, Mark Shurtleff, Jason Powers, John’s Attorneys, his wife, and other politicians I am sure all lied to the people of this State.

Utahan’s should feel dumb for blindly voting for this guy and a little enraged that pretty much all of Capitol Hill new about these scandals before the elections.

We really have to assume anyone related or attached to Jason Powers have their hands dirty as well? Or am I thinking along on this? Utah has to step up on this and demand that the house finish their investigate work and take anyone down that has their hand in this dirty kettle pot.

More Utah Corruption?

First we have John Swallow, Lt. Governor Bell that are both under federal investigation. Swallow who is in deeper doo doo then Bell and Swallow has many investigations pending. Also West Valley City Police had their own issues lately but now we turn our heads to the newest scandal:

The Tooele County Sheriff’s office now under investigation as well…

Utah…. What the hell is going on??? All the sudden the people that are supposed to be protecting the public are flat out criminalizing us. Taking advantage whatever you want to call it this is absurd… Utahans better check their ethic values real quick.

March Madness ends with Louisville crowned champs

If you follow or even slightly enjoy college basketball or basketball in general than it’s a must you fill out a bracket “bracketology” .  ESPN has folks sign up every year for this. This year it was sponsored by All State Insurance.

It is estimated that tens of millions of people fill out March Madness tourney brackets every year; 8.15 million brackets were entered in ESPN’s Tourney Challenge alone.

Over 60,000 brackets were filled out by Facebook users in Yahoo!’s Tourney Pick’em game [6] and Yahoo! was kind enough to share their data with us. We observe most users’ age, educational background, team and athletic page likes, location, and estimate the effect these have on how people fill out their brackets.

I signed up for one on espn. I did well but I didn’t win. I guess getting a rank of 435,107 with a PCT of 94.7 isn’t too bad out of 8.15 million. Although I didn’t win squat other than some bragging rights to the group I was in which only goes so far.

Oh well that’s the beauty of March Madness…. There is always next year to win the big one. It’s the closest thing we have to the lottery in Utah so I can always hope ha.

There are so many ways to guess, pick or choose who can run all the way to the end of the Road to the final 4.  There isn’t a right or wrong way to picking and that’s all the fun in the madness… “Never really knowing” who could be this years Cinderella Like Wichita St. VCU years earlier among many other great solid teams. That’s probably one of the factors that really just entice and keep people so excited about March Madness.

The tourney really stress’s strategy for coaches, along with stamina for players. It’s one of my personal favorite times of year. Except football isn’t on ;/ But hey can’t win them all.

Aaron Christner Louisville Cardinal

Louisville Cardinal

I picked Louisville and am glad they won, not because Kevin Ware broke his leg, but because Rick Pitino is a Great coach and made it to the Hall of Fame recently! He will also have a new tattoo soon. Good for the Cardinal Basketball program and team. They were fundamentally sound and played well as a team.

It’s a very big thing for the Cardinals to bring the title back to Kentucky a year after their in state dreaded Rival the “Kentucky Wildcats” did it previously.  Shows how strong the East side of the country is in basketball.

Louisville NCAA MENS CHAMPS

Shout out to the Wolverines and Big 10 for putting on a hell of a run as well. They have a bright future with a solid 4-5 freshman on the come up

Utah’s Rap industry and Alex Mamatuki

Written by: Ryan Jensen Salt Lake City Utah.

I would like to give a shout out to a good friend and a guy that has battled the rap streets a long time here in Utah.

Recently the city weekly did an article on the Rap game from Utah and my boy Alex Mamatuki “playboi” made the paper as with a reputable recommendation.

Every Since I have known Alex Mamatuki which dates back to 7th grade which is now about 15 years previously from now in 2013,  his passion has been rap, basketball, ladies among other good things.

Alex is a good guy and always there if you need him. He has done many good things for Utah’s underground battle scene. It’s great to see and hear him traveling more out of state and putting it down for Utahans. Along with getting some publicity. The guy works extremely hard on his raps and anything he puts his mind to.

Feel free to get a feel for one of his many different styles-

Mamatuki is quoted in the Salt Lake City weekly as saying “You have to be witty,” Mamatuki says. “Every flaw you can think of about yourself, flip it. … Make your weaknesses your strength.”

I hope Alex continues to do well as he has done for so many years! Good Job Homie and hope it comes big for ya!

Mark Shurtleff Speaks out about John Swallow

Another interesting update on the John Swallow and Jeremy Johnson case…. Seems Mark Shurtleff has come out from behind the curtain to speak.

Johnson starts online war with government

Written By Ryan Scott Jensen of Utah
Salt Lake Tribune whom has been covering this John Swallow and Jeremy Johnson story the past year have written another article about the online war that Johnson has put on. It makes you wonder  why the feds and John Swallow can have a website up freely claiming his side, but Jeremy Johnson can’t have his own websites claiming his side?
I know fake profiles, false statements and all the other stuff everyone cries fowl on but if one person can’t use social media and the internet net then the other party should be held to the same standard.
The internet is a ruthless world. It’s harsh, crude and uncensored. We need to really look at the online world and see how we can better it for children. Anyway now I am going off subject…. Here is a well written update about Jeremy Johnson’s gag order.
Johnson’s War — Utah businessman battling the feds on many online fronts

Prosecutors are trying to block Johnson from firing back on YouTube, Facebook.

Call it Johnson’s War — with Jeremy Johnson as commander in chief.

The indicted and sued St. George businessman is waging high-tech, low-cost battles against his federal tormentors through YouTube videos, websites, Facebook, Twitter, a blog and interviews with the mainstream media.

At a glance

The Swallow case

Indicted St. George businessman Jeremy Johnson has alleged that Utah’s new attorney general, John Swallow, helped broker payoffs to enlist the aid of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in derailing a Federal Trade Commission investigation of Johnson’s I Works business.

Swallow and Reid have vehemently denied the allegations. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has said it is investigating.

He appears to be taking no prisoners:

• Johnson’s YouTube videos accuse federal prosecutors of threatening to indict his family if he doesn’t plead guilty in his criminal case in which he asserts his innocence.

• He lobs witness-tampering allegations on YouTube at a Federal Trade Commission attorney.

• He indicts the agency’s actions on his EvilFTC.com website, which he promotes on Twitter.

• On Facebook, an “[Unofficial Fan Page] United States Attorney for the District of Utah” draws negative comments about prosecutors.

• And Johnson levels similar accusations in interviews with reporters.

His has been a months-long assault, but now federal prosecutors in Utah are fed up and trying to halt it. They’ve asked a federal judge in Salt Lake City to order Johnson to stop making statements to the news media and to dismantle his online offensive.

This type of effort from a defendant is unusual, but — with the rise of the Internet and social media — people such as Johnson now have a variety of tools at their fingertips to fight such a guerrilla war against their persecutors.

The FTC sued Johnson and his I Works company in 2010, alleging it illegally charged consumers’ credit and debit cards monthly fees after luring them with offers of products for small fees.

This is just a small shot of the article so go to the Salt Lake Tribune for the full version.

Thanks,

Ryan Scott Jensen
