Snoop Lion Rips a fat Blunt live on Television on the huffington Post
If you follow or even slightly enjoy college basketball or basketball in general than it’s a must you fill out a bracket “bracketology” . ESPN has folks sign up every year for this. This year it was sponsored by All State Insurance.
It is estimated that tens of millions of people fill out March Madness tourney brackets every year; 8.15 million brackets were entered in ESPN’s Tourney Challenge alone.
Over 60,000 brackets were filled out by Facebook users in Yahoo!’s Tourney Pick’em game and Yahoo! was kind enough to share their data with us. We observe most users’ age, educational background, team and athletic page likes, location, and estimate the effect these have on how people fill out their brackets.
I signed up for one on espn. I did well but I didn’t win. I guess getting a rank of 435,107 with a PCT of 94.7 isn’t too bad out of 8.15 million. Although I didn’t win squat other than some bragging rights to the group I was in which only goes so far.
Oh well that’s the beauty of March Madness…. There is always next year to win the big one. It’s the closest thing we have to the lottery in Utah so I can always hope ha.
There are so many ways to guess, pick or choose who can run all the way to the end of the Road to the final 4. There isn’t a right or wrong way to picking and that’s all the fun in the madness… “Never really knowing” who could be this years Cinderella Like Wichita St. VCU years earlier among many other great solid teams. That’s probably one of the factors that really just entice and keep people so excited about March Madness.
The tourney really stress’s strategy for coaches, along with stamina for players. It’s one of my personal favorite times of year. Except football isn’t on ;/ But hey can’t win them all.
I picked Louisville and am glad they won, not because Kevin Ware broke his leg, but because Rick Pitino is a Great coach and made it to the Hall of Fame recently! He will also have a new tattoo soon. Good for the Cardinal Basketball program and team. They were fundamentally sound and played well as a team.
It’s a very big thing for the Cardinals to bring the title back to Kentucky a year after their in state dreaded Rival the “Kentucky Wildcats” did it previously. Shows how strong the East side of the country is in basketball.
Shout out to the Wolverines and Big 10 for putting on a hell of a run as well. They have a bright future with a solid 4-5 freshman on the come up
